Interested in scouting?

We invite your child and your entire family to join us in all sorts of Scouting fun!  Troop 509 offers Fun with a Purpose.  Our leaders are enthusiastic and strong on helping kids master life skills and character qualities such as responsibility, respect, and honesty.

Boy Scouting is a year-round program for boys around ages 11 - 17. Through the Boy Scout program, young men can achieve the core objectives of strengthening character, personal fitness and good citizenship.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Youth in our troop attend Westwood Middle School, Blaine High School, McKinley Elementary, Rum River Elementary, Roosevelt Middle School, Oak View Middle School (Andover), Centennial Lakes & Forest Lake schools, as well as several private schools and home school.
